We headed north for the next phase of our journey to Cairns and then a bit further to Palm Cove where we’ve all rented a house. It’s just a block from the beach so we hear the roar of the surf all the time.
I managed to get into the hammock on the deck patio but not into the pool – water is apparently cold even though it’s very warm here. We’ve been dining out on the patio too – gets dark about 6:30.
