It’s Saturday & we thought we’d try a ferry in another direction so headed east to Manly. After enquiring at the Visitor’s Center about places to go & things to see we found out that there were Surf Lifesaving Competitions happening at the beach. We wandered over to watch & what a treat. The surf was fantastic, it was a sunny warm day and the entertainment (surfing, lifesaving, boating, sand races) was wonderful – especially since we hadn’t known anything was going on. 
Sooo... did you get treated to the spectacle of Rudyk showing off his athletic prowess while firmly planted aboard a surfboard?? (PS-if so, my beloved would like to know were his trunks firmly attached so he would escape a similar memorable 'misfortune'??
