We camped close to Auckland, close enough to take the train in and catch a ferry across to Waiheke Island. While there we took a bus tour around part of the island – in the pouring rain! Saw lots of vineyards & wonderful scenery.
The sun came out after the tour was done & we walked around the little town of Oneroa. There were flowers growing along a beach access path,
a chair to rest in after reaching the bottom,
and a stone fence & gate.
As always – big surf,
and a couple of dolphins – got a photo of one, but you have to look close!
